Our studfarm Kastanienhof is located in Sage-Haast and was founded by our family in 1968; We are in the triangle in the mist of Oldenburg (20km north), Bremen (50km east), Vechta (30km south), and Cloppenburg (20 km west).
Thus we have good access to all major German breeding regions as well as Holland: We are less than an hour away from the equestrian centres Vechta (30 km) and Verden (90 km), nearest airports are Bremen (50 km) and Münster-Osnabrück (100 km). Of particular interest to our overseas clients is our convenient proximity to the predominating horse transport agencies – Guido Klatte Int. Horse transport – with whom we maintain an excellent and longstanding business connection. The facilities of Guido Klatte are only 40km from us so your pony will have a very short transfer into quarantine and/or airport of departure. Within a radius of up to 300 km we reach the outer limits of the breeding areas Weser-Ems, Hannover, Westphalia, Schleswig-Holstein and Rhineland as well as the Dutch border so we can warrant good access to some of the most important Pony regions of Europe.
